voice swinging from humor to care
the discussion rolls on
gaining momentum
pulling away from her grasp
and she races to get in front again
to still the deprecation
herd us back to point
but we have caught our stride
rolling from one to another
an avalanche of impressions
constructing a new wall
three stories high
to where she stands
calm at her chosen finish line
